Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers pair Cook up a treat

The year got off with a bang for Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers duo Graham Robinson and Lorraine Hiles, who were among the massive field of 254 finishers in the annual Captain Cook’s Fell Race.

Robinson, back running after illness, finished 147th in 47 minutes and 44 seconds with Hiles, 151st in 47-52.

Noel Clough was third in the V40 class in the Yorkshire Points Cyclo-Cross race at Todmorden.

The Harriers are now planning for the Thirsk 10 Road race on March 24 starting at 11am from Thirsk Racecourse.

Open to runners over 16 years of age, entry forms are to be found at the copy shop in the town.
