Despite extremely wet conditions Malton and Norton Golf Club managed to fit in two of their ever popular Christmas competitions.
The annual Turkey Trot was won by Eddie Conway and Dan Gilbank with Conway in sparkling form as he hit ten pars and a birdie in a superb round.
Head professional Michael Brooks’ Shotgun event was shortened to nine holes due to inclement weather.
Kevin Jones and Bill Redmond took the spoils with 22 points, while the pro’s annual Christmas draw saw Graham Laws winning an electric trolley.
