Kirkbymoorside defeat in cup warm-up

KIRKBYMOORSIDE will travel to Prudhoe Town on Saturday (January 5) in round one of the Wearside League Cup (kick off 1.30pm).
The club were without a league fixture last weekend and instead took on Old Malton St Mary’s in a friendly.
The Moorsiders lost the away fixture 4-2, with the visitors’ goals scored by Chris Rhodes and Jonny Brown.
This Saturday, the Moorsiders are holding a fundraising Donkey Derby at the town’s Recreation Club, starting at 5pm.
