Dave Saunders wins Allerthorpe Park Golf Club’s Overington Trophy

COUNT-BACK determined the winner of Allerthorpe Park GC’s Overington Trophy (formerly the Adhurst Trophy).
Sponsored by the Overington family and played in memory of Andrew Overington, the tournament is an individual stableford followed by an eight-hole putting competition. Each player is allowed only a maximum of seven clubs, including a putter.
Dave Saunders won with 44 points on count-back from Josh Hill, while the top lady player was Jackie Willerton on 35.
The men’s winner of the putting competition was Neil Savage with Sally Wilkinson winning the ladies’ event.
