The kindergarten needs pens, pencils, paper, notebooks and exercise books, games such as jigsaws, board games, draughts, picture card games, together with paint brushes, paint, constructions toys, music making activities, as well as cars, boats and trains.

Similar activities are sought for the school, along with tennis balls and racquets, footballs, bean bags, skipping ropes and hoops, together with musical instruments.

Donations of toys or cash towards equipment can be left at the Gazette & Herald office in Yorkersgate, Malton, between 9am and 5pm, Monday and Friday. The office is closed between 12.30pm-1pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
