HOW utterly ridiculous that you are promoting Andrew Pern's book, Black Pudding and Foie Gras.

A few months ago, you appeared to be fully supportive of the ban in North Yorkshire of this cruel trade.

I feel sickened that by promoting this book, you are encouraging people to eat this food.

For the goose, this is an extremely painful and terrifying process. Even the pump used to force feed rips and tears their throats and necks, causing dreadful injuries and pain.

Perhaps this could be explained to your readers.
