One-day strike is not enough

I hope our pseudo-militant school teachers, in teaching history to their pupils, do not align themselves, in any way, with those pioneering trade unionists of yesteryear, who sacrificed so much for the right to strike.
If school teachers really believe in their cause, they should go out and stop out', until the Government concedes or compromises. A one-day stoppage demonstrat es lack of conviction.
