Care was there when we needed

MANY of us are quick to complain when the care we receive does not meet our expectations, and slower to give praise where it is due.

I am writing to commend the excellent care given to my mother, Lilian Lodge, at the Stroke Unit at Scarborough Hospital and later at Rivermead Nursing home, Norton, during her final illness, aged 96 years.

While these standards are maintained, our NHS is safe, but still needs all the help and support we can give it.
