Supermarkets will kill off high street

I READ in the Daily Telegraph about the way a supermarket is to be forced on your town. It is a typical tactic.

First remove the car parking facility for the high street shoppers, then build a supermarket with parking for its own shoppers, thus putting the high street shopkeepers at an immediate disadvantage. Add to this the massive buying power of the supermarkets, and you are well on the way to crushing the life out of the high street.

This is happening all over the country. I wish you well in your struggle to stop it but I fear it will be a very unequal fight.
