Horse fall image was insensitive

AS a loyal reader of more than 40 years, I was very upset by the photograph of the horse According To Pete’s fatal fall in the Grand National.

It was very insensitive, especially when the horse was trained in Norton where so many people rely on the horse racing industry for a living.

I hope that in future your editor will think more carefully when choosing sporting pictures. We expect better.
