Are you aware of plans for 400ft turbine ‘monstrosities’?

I WONDER if the people who love the Yorkshire Wolds, Hockney’s paintings and a good glass of real ale actually know of the proposal for nine 400 ft high turbines within a few hundred yards of the Wolds Way National Trail.

The applicants for two of these monstrosities?

Oh, er, Wold Top Brewery.

Triples all round, as Private Eye would say.

Surely Godfrey Bloom doesn't need to cast his eyes as far as the Wolds in order to observe a 'monstrosity' Try a little closer to home Godfrey.

Fight this with every tool you have. Developers are not interested in the effects that these monstroities have , not only on humans but also on the far more sensitive bird and animal populations. It is up to you to put up enough resistance to kill this deal.

I cannot under stand you people, you want green energy and get away from coal oil and nuclear power stations and all you can think about is what turbines will do to wild life. Here where i live In Spain are hundreds of turbines on hills and mountains and have no effect on wild life or humans, after a while they are not noticed and birds fly round them. give me the turbines and you can keep your dirty radio active power stations.
