After a run of severe frosts, we are now experiencing a serious pothole problem.

What with record fuel duty and an ever-increasing road fund licence fee, one would expect the road building and repair fund to be overflowing. Especially after a run of relatively mild winters.

The trouble is, this inept government will have squandered this money on other projects.

I think it is safe to assume that the “cash cow” motorist will be asked once more to stump up come budget day.
