RYEDALE and District Mencap are delighted their collections in Ryedale during 2014 raised the following amounts: Pickering £220.65, Helmsley £184.79, Kirkbymoorside £247.34, Malton £217.95.
Thanks to all donors and volunteers who attended these collections and who acted as marshals for the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride – the other main source of revenue for the charity.
We are also most grateful to Morrisons, who permitted us to collect in store raising £301.79.
The funds collected will be used to take Ryedale and District Mencap’s clients on day trips in Ryedale and surrounding areas, as well as on other shorter days out.
Derek Searle, hon treasurer of Ryedale and District Mencap
