I WOULD like to say a very big thank you to the volunteer gardeners in the Thornton-le-Dale North Yorks National Parks car park.
Thanks to their hard work over the past few years, there has been a steady improvement to the look of the flower beds and shrubs around and between the parking areas.
The volunteers are a cheery group of people who garden with skill and enthusiasm. They are always ready to pass the time of day and share humorous banter with people from near and far, who use the car park and pond area.
Thank you to the volunteers for giving their time and gardening skills, and sharing their sense of humour and social skills with so many of us who use the car park and pond area in Thornton-le-Dale.
Grandma Heather and her duck-feeding grandchildren, Thornton-le-Dale
