SO, the council has decided to make us pay for it to collect our garden waste. At £27 per year, this works out at £2.70 per collection for the 10 months, that is if they collect for 10 months.
In the terms and conditions, the council states that in December, January and February the collections will be suspended, so unless I am wrong, the collections will cost £4.50 per collection, because the council said it will only collect from June to November.
To me, the council has not been honest. If I am wrong, I will gladly write another letter to the Gazette & Herald and say I was wrong.
If this had been done by someone else, wouldn’t they have been called “conmen”? And just think of all the short journeys to drop off the rubbish and the pollution brought on by Ryedale House.
Well done.
