I THINK the people of these towns need to be reminded of what is the purpose of a pelican crossing.
Last Thursday, I was walking out of Norton library and waiting to cross the road when this car drove past at a very high speed.
Even if pedestrians do not have right of way, which I believe they do, motorists at least have an obligation to drive slowly, in case of pedestrians waiting to cross.
