A LUNCH for disabled people in York hopes to give them a chance to meet others and find love.
Outsiders, an award winning charity hosting in York for the first time, has been supporting disabled people for more than 35 years. The charity supports its members with their social lives and finding love.
The York event is hosted by John Cossham, a local activist, who said: “I’ve been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum.
“I don’t want it to look like it’s us doing something for them.”
York is hosting this first lunch on Saturday, January 31 at the Park Inn on North Street, from 2pm.
Any adults with physical and sensory disabilities, disfigurement, or any social disabilities, such as Aspergers and social anxiety, are welcome to go along.
