THE North Yorkshire Fire Service boat was launched yesterday after a boat broke free from its moorings on the Ouse.
A spokeswoman said a 27-foot Seamaster was reported to the fire service by North Yorkshire Police at about 8.20am.
The fire boat attended and secured it.
