SCARBOROUGH Museums Trust is going green again this festive season, with a traditional Father Christmas at the town’s Rotunda Museum.
The green Father Christmas will be in residence in the circular building – despite its lack of chimneys – to greet families in his special grotto on tomorrow and next Saturday.
Debbie Seymour, chief executive of Scarborough Museums Trust, said: “For the first time last year, we welcomed Father Christmas to a specially-designed grotto in the Rotunda, and he told us afterwards he’d had a great time, with lots of children coming to visit and receive gifts. We’re delighted he’s agreed to come back and join us again this year.”
Families with children can visit the grotto at the Rotunda from 10am to 4pm. Entry to the Rotunda is free on both days for adults and children. Entry to the grotto is £3 per child and includes a present.
