A SNOWFLAKE Saturday is taking place at Derwent Valley Bridge Community Library and Resource Centre, West Ayton, on November 29.
The event, which runs from 1pm to 4pm, will include Christmas tree decorations, festive notebooks, Christmas wreaths, cards and book bags and festive food items.
Pauline Bedford, one of the organisers, said: “The newly-formed Knit and Stitch Group, volunteers and supporters have been busy for weeks making fabulous crafts. We have something for everyone – including several families of knitted hedgehogs and owls all looking for good homes.”
Admission is free and there will be mulled drinks, a children’s lucky dip and a chance to buy tickets for the Christmas draw.
