RYEDALE District Council is in talks about devolving powers from Westminster to the regions, said Councillor Linda Cowling, the authority’s leader.
She said the Scottish referendum had “sent ripples” through regions and sub-regions of England, with talks taking place about devolution and devolved powers with council leaders in North Yorkshire.
