A NORTH York Moors primary school has become the latest group to sign up to the “Lost Sheep in Pink Jerseys” tourism campaign for the summer.
Children from Fylingdales Primary School have made pom-pom pink sheep which will be displayed around Robin Hood’s Bay as part of a treasure trail across the moors.
Visitors will be encouraged to spot at least three lost pink sheep to enter a prize draw with prizes from free accommodation and days out to local produce.
The treasure trail will run from June 20 to September 20 2014, and businesses in the North York Moors, Howardian Hills or Yorkshire Coast have until May 20 to sign up to take part.
For more information and to register a sheep go to www.northyorkmoorstourism.com.
