EASTER services will take place at St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church, Pickering, tomorrow at 7.30pm, with Eucharist and Stripping of the Altars.
On Good Friday, from noon to 1.45pm, there will be The Liturgy of the Cross followed, from 1.45pm to 3pm, with the Solemn Liturgy of Good Friday.
The Service of Light and First Eucharist of Easter takes place on Saturday, at 8pm, followed by Holy Communion at 8am and Holy Eucharist at 10am on Easter Sunday.
On Easter Monday, from 10am to 3pm, coffee and tea, cakes and scones will be served in church as the Monday market coffee mornings resume.
The Vicar’s Gift Day will also be held on the same day with letters and envelopes sent to every house in Pickering to inviting people to help care for the church building.
