Residents urged to report rogue traders
RESIDENTS have been urged to report rogue traders operating in North Yorkshire to trading standards officials.
North Yorkshire County Council’s trading standards team is advising residents never to employ cold callers who claim a tile has fallen from a roof or a tree branch needs to be removed.
People worried about their property or trees are urged to call a tradesperson out themselves for an objective assessment. If any work is needed, get three quotes and compare prices.
