Crash blocks A64
PART of the A64 between York and Malton was blocked yesterday after a van crashed into the back of a car.
The collision happened on the eastbound stretch of the road at Whitwell-on-the-Hill at about 10.45am.
The driver of the black Ford Transit van involved in the crash was not injured and North Yorkshire Police said the other vehicle did not stop at the scene.
