YOUNGSTERS at a nursery on a North Yorkshire air base were given a magical experience as it opened its doors to the public.
The open day at the Old Station Nursery, at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, saw magician Wonderphil pay a visit, with his tricks including a levitation experiment involving planks and chairs.
The conjuror also organised games and dances for the children at the nursery, as well as making balloon animals for all of them, as visitors were invited to the nursery – which looks after 42 children aged up to 11 – to have a look around.
The nursery provides places for children from the Linton-on-Ouse area and does not cater specifically for military families. For more information phone 01347 847551.
