RESIDENTS are being urged to enter unsung heroes for the 2015 Hambleton Community Awards.
The awards were launched this year by the district council to recognise and celebrate the exceptional contribution to the district made by countless residents, young and old.
The scheme, which will culminate in a prize giving ceremony next March, covers everything from community group and parish council of the year awards to citizen of the year and a green/environmental award.
Forms are available at www.hambleton.gov.uk/communityawards , any Hambleton District Council leisure centre or from the council offices in Northallerton, Easingwold or Stokesley, or contact Kate Staines or Lisa Wilson 01609 767203/01609 767149.
The closing date for nominations is January 18.
