Friarage Hospital
THE FRIENDS of the Friarage Hospital have donated £10,000 to the outpatient physiotherapy department at the Friarage Hospital.
The fundraising group has raised several millions of pounds for the hospital over a number of years, helping staff and patients and supporting the wards and departments with their incredibly successful fundraising and profits from their successful and popular hospital shop.
The physiotherapy department at the Northallerton hospital has used the money to purchase a Biodex balance system – a sophisticated piece of equipment which can be used to improve balance, muscle strength, mobility and walking – helping rehabilitate patients after illness or injury.
