A FIREWORKS event is being held at Thirsk Racecourse to raise money for Herriot’s Hospice.
The event on Saturday, November 1 is being organised by Thirsk Rotary Club.
Beginning at 5.30pm, there will be covered areas open in the family stand in case of bad weather, and free parking as well as live music, hot food, sweet doughnut and coffee stalls, children rides and an undercover bouncy castle.
Tickets on the gate cost £10 for a family, adults £5 , under-16s £3 and under-5s free.
