Fundraiser for North Yorkshire breast cancer group
THE Friarage Hospital’s breast cancer support group is holding an afternoon tea at Barkers Restaurant in Northallerton on Thursday, October 23 from 2-3pm.
Proceeds from the sale of tea, coffee and tombola tickets will be donated to support group funds and a representative from Anita will be available to give advice on post-surgery bras.
The group’s next meeting takes place in the hospital’s Scott Suite on Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm and features a demonstration of hands on craft work by Linda Breckon. New members are welcome.
