RESIDENTS in Hambleton can get discounts on gym memberships next month.
As part of Hambleton District Council’s Big Weekend, on October 11 and 12, four gyms operated by the council will offer discounts.
Anyone taking a 12-month Zest gym or swim cash membership will get two months free, with discounts also available on three, six and 12-month cash memberships and offers also available on direct debit memberships.
Leanne Dunning, marketing manager with the council, said: “The Big Weekend is part of an initiative to increase the number of people taking regular exercise – and to raise awareness of what the leisure centres have to offer.”
