50-inch TV stolen in Sowerby raid
POLICE are appealing for anyone who saw someone carrying a 50-inch television along a North Yorkshire village street to contact them.
The television, along with a laptop and other electrical items was stolen in the early evening of Monday from a bungalow in Front Street, Sowerby, near Thirsk.
The thieves got in through an unlocked window and police are urging householders to make sure their home is secure when they leave it.
