Calendar girls strike leisurely pose for Yorkshire Air Ambulance

A GROUP of women are revealing nearly all to raise funds for a charity calendar.
The ‘ladies at leisure’ have posed for the calendar in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Inspired by the Women’s Institute Calendar Girls, each month features a different model in various local settings, shot by Scagglethorpe-based photographer Stuart Bogg.
One of the organisers, Anne Baron, said she had no difficulties finding volunteers for the calendar.
“We had a lot of fun putting it all together, especially as some of the shots were done outdoors, including one at the golf course in Norton,” she said.
“One or two of the girls did have reservations but as it was for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance they agreed to it.”
The Ladies at Leisure calendar is the latest fundraiser by Anne, along with fellow organiser Annie Corner.
Over the years the pair have donated more than £30,000 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance through different fundraisers including parachute jumps, auction of promises, cricket matches and a Night at the Proms.
Anne said: “We have had lots of support from husbands and partners – they are quite proud of us and we hope to raise a good amount for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance which helps so many people in this area.”
The calendar is on sale at No One Health and Beauty, Market Place restaurant, Smash Boutique, Cundalls and Malton Relish, all in Malton, as well as Brompton farm shop and The Whole Hogg farm shop, situated between Malton and Pickering.
