A NUMBER of craftspeople joined forces recently to display their work and highlight the wide range of artefacts produced in Ryedale.
Malton-based artist and sign writer Alan Jones organised the event, with 15 different crafts sharing space at The Market Place restaurant in the centre of Malton where Mr Jones held an exhibition of his watercolour paintings earlier this year.
Work on show ranged from pottery to saddlery, glassware to beekeeping, rope and canvas making, cricket bats, chocolates and portraits.
Mr Jones said: “I thought it was a good opportunity to display the different talents that abound in Ryedale – an area that has so much to offer.”
