A WOMAN who was flown to hospital with serious injuries following a crash near Castle Howard has been released from hospital.
Four women were injured when their car crashed on Saturday. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to The Stray, at Castle Howard, following the incident.
One casualty, said by police to be from the local area, was airlifted to James Cook Hospital with “serious injuries”, including suspected head and neck injuries, said a Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman.
However, the woman was said to have been released from hospital yesterday.
The three other women were taken to hospital with whiplash type injuries but have since been released.
