USERS of Malton library are about to have the chance to meet a particularly cute visitor – a Hearing Dog Puppy.

An event about the work of the Hearing Dogs is being organised from Monday, October 22 to Thursday, November 1.

As a finale, there will be a drop-in session on November 1 between 10am and 2pm, when families will be invited to take part in Hearing Dog related activities and meet the puppy.

Coun Chris Metcalfe, North Yorkshire’s executive member for libraries, said: “We welcome these very important visitors to Malton library and the chance to learn all about the work of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and the contribution that volunteers can make.”
