Four injured in North Yorkshire car crash

FOUR people were injured when their car crashed in North Yorkshire today.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to The Stray, at Castle Howard, following the incident, at about 12.10pm.

One person was airlfted to James Cook Hospital with "serious injuries", including suspected head and neck injuries, said a Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman.

Three other people suffered minor injuries and were taken for treatment at York Hospital by road ambulances, said a North Yorkshire Fire Service spokeswoman.
