Village project scoops a big Lottery win

VILLAGERS in Coxwold are celebrating after scooping £10,000 from The Big Lottery.

The money will be used by the Playing Field Association to refurbish the village hall.

The work, including installing acoustic ceiling tiles, double glazed windows and better toilets.

Thirsk and Malton MP Anne McIntosh said: “The improvements will provide a warm and accessible community facility and enable the hall to be used for new activities for people of all ages.”
