SIXTH Form students at Malton School have chosen their president and senior students.
All candidates completed a nomination form outlining why they considered themselves to be worthy of the roles, before voting took place.
Stephanie Blake was elected sixth form president with George Flinton, Neil Adams and Lottie Farrow as senior students.
The team will lead the organisation of the Year 13 prom and organise fundraising days for the whole school including Comic Relief and Children In Need. They will also help to plan school concerts and inter-house sports matches for sixth form students as part of their enrichment programme.
Stephanie said: “Being the sixth form president is not only about generating your own ideas but more importantly it’s about gathering the ideas of all the students in the sixth form.”
Sue Holden, assistant head of school, said: “We are looking forward to working with an enthusiastic group of students who, I am confident, will be excellent role models for all the students at Malton School.”
