THIS was the scene near the A170 after a car and tractor were involved in a collision near Pickering.

The smash happened yesterday morning and saw the closure of the road to allow emergency services to clear the scene between the villages of Wrelton and Cropton.

It is understood nobody was seriously injured as a result of the incident.
