A MALTON plumber has cycled from London to Paris to raise funds for Ryedale Special Families.
Phil Marwood cycled nearly 500km over four days, raising £2,100 for the charity.
He said: “I was looking for a personal challenge and also wanted to help raise money for a local charity and Ryedale Special Families fitted the bill.”
Lisa Keenan of Ryedale Special Families said: “We were delighted when Phil contacted us with this fundraising challenge and the amount raised was fantastic – it’s a great support to our work with local families of children with disabilities and special needs.”
