Mountain bikes stolen from shed in Gate Helmsley

POLICE are appealing for information after the theft of two mountain bikes from a shed at a property in Gate Helmsley at the weekend.
One bike was a ladies GT Avalanche mountain bike extra small frame in silver fitted with non-standard blue pedals and blue headstock.
The other was a man’s Orange Crush mountain bike with a 17-inch frame in black, fitted with a non-standard Planet X saddle and non-standard white hand grips.
Anyone with any information or anyone who has been offered the bikes for sale is asked to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Andy Rogers.
