PICKERING Town Council has received a letter from a member of the public demanding it should object to the presence of A-boards in the Market Place.
The letter asked the council to approach highways officials for the boards to be removed.
However, the council also learnt that the highway authority was about to publish a “working protocol” on A-boards so it decided against doing anything further about the complaint.
