Putting the focus on county’s nature

NORTH and East Yorkshire’s nature and wildlife will be centre stage at a national conference to be held ain Bridlington next month.

Tourism businesses and organisations from all the UK’s rural and coastal areas will have the chance to learn how to make the most of their area’s natural resources.

The conference, organised by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, will feature visits to some of the major wildlife viewing sites in the “Yorkshire Nature Triangle”, which lies between Selby , Scarborough and Flamborough.

The event on October 3 and October 4 at The Spa, Bridlington, will show how other areas have benefited from tourism based on attracting visitors to areas of natural beauty or wildlife.
