Record-breaking Wings appeal

A STREET collection held in the centre of Pickering for the RAF’s annual Wings Appeal has raised a record-breaking sum.
The local branch of the Royal Air Force Association said the collection on Monday saw £712.52 being donated, more than ever before, with a further £23.20 being placed into a box in the North Yorkshire Moors Railway shop. The association has thanked everybody who supported the cause and helped with the collection.
