Gliding and fishing among auction of promise lots

An auction of promises will be held in Husthwaite village hall on Saturday, October 6 at 7.30pm.
The bar will be open all evening and there will be entertainment and nibbles at half time.
Promises to date include a glider gift voucher, fly fishing, an original painting of the village green, a ride in a vintage car, a set of fruit trees, a guided tour of Ampleforth Abbey for two, a meal for two at the Carlton Inn, a pair of curtains made to measure by Curtain Room, a load of horse manure, some Galtres cider, a music group for your event plus many more.
