Tea urn just turns up

AN APPEAL has been made to the Gazette & Herald to help trace the owners of a tea urn.

The urn was left outside a bungalow in Burdale Close, Norton , around Thursday, August 23 but where it has come from is a mystery.

Peta Hadfield, whose father lives at the property, said a sum of money had also been posted through the door, presumably for the loan of the urn.

“It’s not my father’s property, so someone, somewhere is missing a tea urn and the money,” she said.

Anyone who thinks they can solve the urn puzzle can phone Karen Darley at the Gazette on 01653 695600.
