Pooches brush up for Pickering Fun Dog Show

DOGS of all shapes and sizes will take part in the annual Pickering Fun Dog Show at the Recreation Ground on Sunday, September 23.
Organised by Kath Wynn, from the town’s Pet Store, the event has been held for the last two years and includes a number of classes from best child handler to fancy dress, as well as pedigree classes.
There will also be a tombola, bran tub, dog photography and refreshments.
“It has proved so popular that everyone asked if I was going to organise another show this year,” Kath said.
The event is being sponsored by Burgess Foods and profits from the event will be donated to Cancer Bio Detection Dogs.
Registration starts at 11am with judging from noon with entries accepted on the day. For more information, phone Kath on 01751 473521.
