Date for 2013 Malton Food Lovers Festival

FOLLOWING the success of this year’s annual Malton Food Lovers Festival, the organising committee has announced that the 2013 festival will be on the third weekend in May.
It promises to be better than ever and preparation for the extravaganza has already begun.
Keen foodies who can’t wait until then can head to the festival’s baby brother event, Malton Food Lovers Market, on Saturday, 9am–4pm, in the Milton Rooms in Malton Market Place.
Visitors will be greeted by the tastes and aromas of about 30 of the area’s top quality local producers.
James Mackenzie of the Pipe and Glass Inn will be cooking on stage at 11am and Anthony Gillham of The New Malton will follow at noon.
The popular Tasting Table will also be making a welcome return. This month’s market will give customers the opportunity to try venison and trout prepared in many different ways.
Entry to the Food Lovers Market is free.
