People are being asked to look through their photograph albums for pictures that represent the landscape and way of life of the North York Moors over the last 60 years.
The photographs will be used in a free exhibition called Now And Then which is being staged as part of the Moors National Park’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
The exhibition will take place at the Inspired by… Gallery at The Moors National Park Centre, Danby, from November 24 to January, 27, 2013 (weekends only). The authority is holding a number of drop-in sessions for people to bring their photographs to be scanned in.
These will be held at:
• Osmotherley Village Hall, Thursday, July 12, 3.30pm – 7pm
• Hutton-le-Hole Village Hall, Tuesday, July 17, 3.30pm – 7pm
• Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Thursday, July 19, 11am – 3pm
• The Hill Institute, Thornton-le-Dale, Wednesday, July 25, 3.30pm – 7pm
• The Moors National Park Centre, Danby, Tuesday, July 31, 10am – 2pm
Anyone who would like to contribute a photograph but is unable to attend one of the drop-in sessions should phone Amy Thomas on 01439 772700 or email a.thomas@northyorkmoors.org.uk
